Why I Created FEFDY: A New Curriculum for Creative and Joyful Learning

Launched in 2021 after two years of pilot study, FEFDY is my vision to nurture 21st-century learners with curiosity, confidence, and creativity.

When I look at FEFDY today, I see more than just a curriculum—I see a dream that has taken shape and continues to grow stronger every day. The journey started well before its launch in 2021, when I spent two years observing, researching, and piloting ideas to understand how children truly learn best. What I discovered was simple yet profound: children flourish when they are given the freedom to explore, create, and connect their learning to real life.

FEFDY was born from this belief. It is not about forcing knowledge, but about creating the right conditions for curiosity to thrive. Every child is unique, and with the right guidance, each one can shine. The curriculum blends creativity, critical thinking, and experiential learning so that education goes beyond textbooks and exams. I wanted FEFDY to be a space where learning is joyful, interactive, and meaningful—where children feel empowered, not pressured.

What gives me the greatest joy is seeing how FEFDY transforms classrooms into living, breathing spaces of imagination. I see students discovering their voices, expressing themselves through projects, art, storytelling, and technology. I see teachers embracing new methods and parents appreciating how their children are more engaged, curious, and confident. For me, FEFDY has always been about building these moments of wonder and connection.

Looking at the present, I feel proud of how far FEFDY has come since its inception. It has grown into a curriculum that not only equips children with knowledge but also with life skills—resilience, collaboration, problem-solving, and compassion. Education must prepare children for the world beyond school, and FEFDY ensures that they are not just exam-ready but truly life-ready.

This journey continues every day. FEFDY is not static—it evolves with the needs of learners, teachers, and the world around us. I hold close the vision that education should spark joy and open doors of opportunity for every child. With FEFDY, I believe we are creating that reality.
