Health, to me, has always been more than the absence of illness — it is a state of balance between body, mind, and spirit. I often recall Hippocrates’ timeless words: “Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity.” That love for humanity is what I see reflected in every medical camp we conduct — a humble effort to reach those who need care the most.
Through these camps, we take small yet meaningful steps toward a larger dream — health for all. They bring healthcare closer to people who may not otherwise have access to doctors, tests, or medication. Every check-up, every awareness session, and every smile exchanged reminds me that compassion is the true foundation of healing.

At St. Britto’s, health education begins early. We teach our students that caring for one’s well-being is a daily responsibility — not an occasional act. From BMI tracking and dental check-ups to awareness on hygiene, nutrition, and first aid, we aim to build habits that last a lifetime. But beyond personal care, what inspires me most is how our students extend their hands to others — volunteering in community medical camps, supporting NGOs, and learning the joy of service.
Each camp we organize becomes a meeting ground between knowledge and kindness. Doctors, nurses, volunteers, and students come together with one purpose — to serve. Whether it’s in rural villages or city neighborhoods, the experience reminds us that health is not just a privilege; it is a shared duty.
For me, the Aesculap Tent is more than a name — it symbolizes shelter, service, and the healing touch of humanity. It is where science meets compassion, and where our collective efforts light the way to a healthier, more equitable world.
